![]() | This is the spinning plate. This was bought into the game with the toy horses, as I said, on the 4th of April. They're not much use, but you can have many seconds of fun hoping that your character will not drop it. Keep it spinning for 10 seconds and your character will cheer, if not it will fall on the ground and your character will cry. You can get these by visiting Diango in Draynor Village, he will tell you a quick funny story about them and they'll be ready for purchase. They can be purchased for 75 coins. |
![]() ![]() | These little fellows are toy horses. They come in Black, Brown, Grey and White, but all have the same function. Select the "play-with" option and you will see your character playing with the horse, while saying either "come on dobbin, we can win the race!" and "hi ho silver, and away!" They can be bought from the same man for 150gp each. |
| This is an Easter egg. It was RuneScape's third drop, during the Easter of 2002. There wasn't much to do with them, but they healed a respectable 14 HitPoints. They are the only tradeable Easter item, but for some reason one of the cheapest of the rares. They are being slowly wiped out as people accidentally eat them. |
| These were the first untradeable holiday item, and they were dropped during the Easter of 2003. These were Non-Tradable because too many people were getting the Drops on the day, then selling them for ridiculous prices a couple of days after the drop. If you lose your Bunny Ears, you can go to the Clothes Shop in Varrock and get them back. |
| A full chicken outfit set was obtained by helping the Easter bunny hunt for Chocolate kebbits. If you already didn't have the Bunny Hop emote you also got this too. Obtained on Easter of 2007. |
| After handing out all those eggs, the Easter Bunny would give you this as a reward, the Rubber Chicken. Perhaps the most fun of any rare item, the Rubber Chicken can be wielded as a weapon, used to whack other players and do the chicken dance. If you have one of these, congratulations. If you ever lose a Rubber Chicken, speak with Diango in Draynor Village and he'll happily replace it, as with any holiday item. |
| Handed out as part of your reward for helping the Easter bunny in Easter of 2006, along with this you also got the rabbit hop emote. When the ring is worn you will transform into a random coloured Easter egg. |
| After helping the Easter Bunny by collecting 12 chunks of chocolate with a 'Chocatrice' you were rewarded for your efforts with a shiny new chocatrice cape. When this cape is operated you'll spin around inside an Easter egg, you'll then break the top and pop out. |
| This was the first ever holiday drop, from Halloween 2001. It's rarity is going up for 2 reasons, 1. It's the first ever drop and 2. Most people would eat theirs, as they heal 14 HitPoints. Pumpkins are still edible so if you have one its best to keep it noted. |
|
This is a Halloween mask, one of a set of 3. They also come in blue and green.
They look rather funny when warn. |
| This funny-looking, Grim-Reaper-style weapon is a Scythe. Pretty lousy as a weapon, but better that a rubber chicken. They give some small bonuses, and have the big bonus of looking really cool. If you lose yours, visit the clothes shop in Varrock. |
| Muahahahaha!! This evil-looking thing is a Zombie Head. They, along with the scared emote, were the reward from the 2005 holiday event. You basically had to insult some Zombies wandering around in Lumbridge cemetery, and they'd run off, leaving their heads behind them. Pick it up, and there you go. Get another by digging in Lumbridge swamp, but only for previous owners. |
| This Grim Reaper Hood was given out as a reward from the Grim Reaper on Halloween 2007. To obtain the Grim Reaper Hood you had to help the Grim Reaper with a few tasks around his house. Sadly his last servant had just died. There were three tasks which needed completing, the first involved you going into the Grim Reapers garden and obtaining the skull of his last servant. The second was cleaning his house and placing certain items in their correct places and the last task was to test out the Grim Reapers Agility Course. The Grim Reapers house was located south of Falador in a black POH Portal. |
| The rarest of the rares, this is a Christmas Cracker. You pull them with another player and one player will get a random item and the other will get an ultra-rare party hat. Nobody wants to sell theirs, so don't bother trying to buy them, anyways you probably can't afford it. |
| Wowee, we're in the big leagues now. Party Hats are the most expensive wieldable items in RuneScape. They come in 6 colours, with blue being the most expensive. Few people even get to look at someone who HAS one, let alone own one. Have one of these, and you've beaten RuneScape. Period. |
| Dropped on Christmas 2002 in RuneScape Classic these added three Points to your Magic. However, they no longer do so in Runescape 2 . These were the last tradable Holiday Drop, which leaves them with considerable rarity. And they're warm and fuzzy too! |
| This is the funny-looking RuneScape Yo-Yo. These were given out by Santa during the Christmas of 2004. How nice is that, no work or nothing! They can do a few tricks, and look pretty cool while they're at it. Lose yours and Diango in Draynor Village wil kindly replace it. |
| This is just 1 of 4 sets of hat and scarf combos given out during the Christmas event of 2005/2006. They can be worn, that's about it. Still, if you're ever feeling festive and a Santa Hat is too expensive, these little things are the way to go. They're untradeable, and can be recovered if lost or destroyed from Diango. |
| And the other item from Christmas 2005, this is a Marionette. They also come in Red and Blue, and are untradeable. To get them during Christmas, you had to decorate a big tree. When right-clicked, you'll find they have a wide array of things you can do. They will walk, jump and even dance! If you ever destroy yours, you can get it back from a house in Draynor Village, the same place you visited the Pixies. If you did, that is. |
|
Rewarded during the 2006 Christmas event. This reindeer hat comes with its own extra special emote, where you start prancing around and glitter falls down on top of you. This emote can be used by selecting the operate action.
This item can be recovered from Diango if lost. |
|
Rewarded during the 2007 Christmas event. This snow globe when shook will fill the owners inventory with snowballs. When these snowballs are equipped you can throw them at your friends or complete strangers!
This item can be recovered from Diango if lost. |
| This is a Half-Full Jug of wine. Back in the days when RuneScape was young, jugs of wine were drunk in 2 clicks, not 1. Later on, Jagex changed this to 1 but made a big mistake in leaving the half-full wines still in the game. Nowadays, like I said, the price jumps around quite a bit. And to add to that price, The half wines can still be drunk, which is getting rid of them very, very fast. Even faster than Christmas Crackers. |
| And that brings us to the last item in the guide, the disk of returning. This peculiar item was brought about by the idea that there could be a place where you could come and visit any banned friends of yours serving out their punishment through a "Dwarven Black Hole". There was even a new shop that opened, with a dwarf selling these disks as a way of getting out of the black hole. You'd simply right-click it and choose the spin option, which would pull you back to the surface. Eventually, the black hole was taken away and the shop gone. But one thing that remained was the Disk of Returning. You can no longer spin the disks, so they are useless. |
