Walkthrough
Dimintheis
1) Talk to Dimintheis who can be found in a house on the east side of Varrock, he'll tell you whats happened and ask you to help him.
Caleb
2) Talk to Caleb who is located in a house just behind the bank in Catherby, he'll give you his piece of the crest if get him some fish.
Fish and cook the following fish.
- Shrimp
- Tuna
- Bass
- Swordfish
- Salmon
Hand over the fish, and you'll now have the first crest piece in the inventory.
Avan
3) Head over to Al Kharid and talk to the gem trader, he'll tell you about a 'man' located in the scorpion pit. (This is to the north of where you currently are)
4) Ask the 'man' if he knows of Avan, he'll say he is him, ask him for his crest piece and he'll say he'll only give it to you if you make him a ruby necklace and ruby ring out of the purest gold.
Boot
5) Boot is located just west of the anvils in the Dwarven mines, he'll tell you that the pure gold is located in a dungeon to the east of Ardougne.
Pure gold
6) Head to the dungeon, located east of Ardougne, near Whichaven. Beware of the level 53 orge's. Once down here, you'll need to pull the levers in the following order.
- North Wall - Up
- South room - Up
- North Wall - Down
- North room - Up
- North Wall (Outside door) - Down
- South room - Down
You'll now be able to enter the room where the pure gold is located, turn off auto retaliate, and mine the gold rocks, watch out for the level 122 Hellhounds.
Jewellery
7) Smelt the perfect gold ores, and then craft a ruby ring and a ruby necklace. Go back to Avan in Al Kharid mine, and hand over the jewellery, you'll now have his third of the crest.
Johnathan
8) Johnathan, is in the Jolly boar inn north of Varrock near the wilderness edge. Speak to him and he won't tell you anything, now hand over your anti poison to him and he'll feel much better, ask him about his crest piece and he'll tell you he no longer has it, as he lost it to the demon Chronozon, he'll tell you about poison spiders around this demon and that it needs to be killed with all four blast spells (Death runes), unless he will not die.
Chronozon
8) Beware Chronozon is a level 170 demon, we recommend you use magic to kill this beast, as he is very weak to blast spells (Death runes). to get to Chronozon, follow the path in Edgeville dungeon until you reach a gate, the wilderness warning should pop up, open the gate walk through the thugs, post the chaos druids, through another gate, past the level 45 skeletons, to the west will be some Black Demons, run past them to the south edge of the room, through the gate and there it is, chronozon, attack it with all four blast spells, make sure they hit some damage if they don't cast the spell again, once killed he'll drop the third and final crest peice.
9) Piece the crest together and return it to Dimintheis in Varrock, hand the crest other and you'll be rewared with steel guantlets.
