Think of others while using a cannon. Try to use the least crowded area or world you can find so you aren't disrupting the play of others. This also helps you avoid confrontations from less mature players.

Walkthrough

To Start: Get a ride from the Dwarven Boatman into Keldagrim.

The Statue...

1) Head down into the Keldagrim mines and speak with the Dwarven Boatman to get a ride down into the city. On your way to the city, you'll knock down the statue of the Dwarven King, Alvis, and get arrested by Veldaban. He'll let you go if you agree to fix the King's Statue. He'll direct you to a Dwarf named Blasidar, who is a sculptor. He can be found North of the bar in East Keldagrim. Blasidar will eventually agree to help you, but he needs some things first for his model, Riki. King Alvis' Battle Axe, Boots, and his Clothes.
(Note, you can get them in any order you want, this was just the order that the author did it).

The Boots...

2) Head South-West of the Bank and speak to Saro, the owner of an Armour shop. Ask him about boots that are "fit for a king." He'll tell you that he just sold the pair to Dromund, the Dwarf that lives North of the Bank. Head over to talk to him, and he'll refuse to sell or give you the boots. The Left Boot is on the table on the South wall, take it when Dromund has his back turned to you. His cat is guarding the Right Boot, so grab an Air Rune and Law Rune, and go outside the window. Cast telegrab on the Right Boot to steal it right out from under the Cat's nose. You now have a pair of boots for Riki!

The Clothes...

3) To get the clothes, head over to East Keldagrim, and talk to Vermundi. She is located in the South-West corner of the Marketplace. Ask her about making you some of the King's Clothes for Riki. She'll do it, but she needs a picture of them first. Go talk to the Librarian, he's in the house in the North-East corner of West Keldagrim. He'll tell you to search for a book on the King's clothes in the Library. Climb the ladder in the North-West corner to find the book. (Note, if you weigh to much, you won't be able to climb the ladder). Take the book to Vermundi, who needs you to light her Sewing Machine. Use one Coal on it, then use one Regular Log on it, finally use a Tinderbox on the Machine to get it going. You can now buy the clothes from Vermundi for 200 Gold Pieces.

The Battle Axe...

4) Go talk to Santiri, who is in the North-West corner of Keldagrim. Tell him you are looking for a particular axe for repairing the King's statue. He'll give you an antique Dwarven Axe, which is in pretty bad shape, you'll need to repair it.

Take it to Thurgo the Dwarf, along with an Iron Bar and a Redberry Pie. Thurgo is in his house South of Port Sarim. First, give him the Redberry Pie, he won't help you unless you do that. Then, ask him about the Axe, then ask him to fix it, he'll repair it with the Iron Bar you brought. You'll get the option to be teleported back to Keldagrim, accept, then head to the bank. Use three Cut Sapphires on the Axe to fully repair it.

The Consortium...

5) Once you have King Alvis' Battle Axe, Boots, and his Clothes, take them to Riki, the model, and then speak to Blasidar. He needs a descision from the Mining Companies on what the statue's head will look like. Head up to where the Mining Companies are found, above the Keldagrim Market, and speak with the Secretaries of one of the Companies. It doesn't matter which one, except you can't choose the Red Axe or Yellow Fortune:

  • Blue Opal
  • Brown Engine
  • Green Gemstone
  • Purple Pewter
  • Silver Cog
  • White Chisel
Speak to the Secretaries of whichever company you want, and ask to speak to the director of that company. The Secretary will tell you that you must prove yourself worthy before he will allow that. He'll tell you to get a number of ores and bring them back to him.

You can choose to accept the jobs that you have the ores for, and decline the ones that you don't have. You can only do one job at a time, and you have to do it within a certain amount of time. Once you've done six or seven jobs, the secretary will allow you to speak to the director. The director will do the same thing the secretary did, only he'll want bars instead of ores, he'll have about three tasks for you. After you've completed all the tasks, he'll say that you should think of joining their company, and you will then be able to do that by asking him to. You'll then be asked to represent them at the meeting. Now go talk to Veldaban, and he'll take you to the meeting.

There will then be a Cutscene of the meeting. You can also choose to skip the meeting, as it isn't very exciting. You'll then be given the meeting notes.
