Walkthrough

King Arthur
1) Talk to king Arthur and ask if you can join as a knight of the round table, you'll be told about Merlin who's been trapped inside a giant crystal.

Sir Gawain
2) Go outside of the castle and locate Sir Gawain, ask how Merlin got trapped inside the crystal, and any other questions you are able to.

Sir Lancelot
3) Talk to Sir Lancelot who is on the second floor of the castle, ask him about Merlin and Morgan Le Faye and how to enter the castle, you'll be told you need to enter the castle via a boat.

Morgan Le Faye
4) To get to the island you'll need to hide in some crates behind the candle shop in Catherby, after some time you'll eventually arrive at the island, go upstairs and attack Sir Modred (Level 39) when he is down to 1 hitpoint Morgan Le Faye will appear, ask her how to get Merlin out of the crystal, you'll be told that you need a bat bone, a light black candle, Excalibur and some magic words which can be found on an chaos altar, but she is unsure of which one.

Collecting the items
5) Bat bones - Head back downstairs and and kill a bat.
6) Black candle - Go to the house just north east of the candle marker in catherby and get some insect repellent, use this insect repellent on the bee hives, to the west and use a bucket to collect the wax, take the bucket of wax to the candle marker, you'll now have a black candle, light it.

7) Excalibur - Firstly make sure you have some bread with you and head over to the peninsula behind the tree patch in Taverly, map above. ask about Excalibur, you'll be told to go to the jewellery shop in Port Sarim upon entering you'll be stopped by a beggar hand over your bread and the beggar will turn out to be the Lady of the lack, you'll now have Excalibur.



8) Magic Words - Go to Varrock and head to the south east of the city, you'll see a chaos altar, right click on the altar for the words.

Unlocking Merlin
9) Now you've got all the required items to free Merlin, head behind Camelot castle, and to a small looking building, look at map below, if your unsure of where this is, drop the bones on the orange star and a spirit will appear, say the magic words and the spirit will have no choice but to obey you, ask for Merlin to be freed, now head to the south east corner of Camelot castle and up the ladder twice, use Excalibur on the crystal an Merlin will be freed, now head to King Arthur and clam your reward.
