Think of others while using a cannon. Try to use the least crowded area or world you can find so you aren't disrupting the play of others. This also helps you avoid confrontations from less mature players.

[King Narnode Shareen Image]Speak with King Narnode Shareen, you can find him in the Grand Tree ground floor. He says that he has sent the 10th Squad to destroy Glough's shipyard in Karamja, but they haven't reported in. After you tell him that you'll help, he will give you a Gnome Royal Seal. [Gnome Royal Seal Image]

2) The Plot
Items needed: Armour, and the Gnome Royal Seal
[G.L.O. Caranock Image]Go upstairs to the to the very top of the tree, and ride the glider to Karamja (Gandius on the map). Head North from where you land, and follow the fense North until you reach the gate. Enter using your Gnome Royal Seal. Speak to G.L.O. Caranock, he is in the cabin to the South of the gate. He will say that the fleet never made it there, that they must have been blown of course.. Now head back to the Gnome Tree via the Glider (Ta Quir Priw on the map). Talk to the King.

3) The Hanger
Items needed: Narnode's Orders and all the items listed for the next step if you don't wish to bank after this step
[Daero Image]The King will give you some orders to give to Daero, you can find him on the second floor of the Grand Tree, at the bar. Go give the Orders to Daero, who will then tell that you are to undertake a reconnaissance mission. After talking to him for a while, and asking most of the questions, you will be able to leave, Daero will then blindfold you, and take you to the hanger. (See a map here)
[Waydar Image]Speak to Daero again, and he will speak to Waydar for a little bit, and you will learn that before you can use the Gliders, you will need to wait for reinitialization to be completed. Talk to Waydar about that, and you will, of course learn that you are the only one who can complete it. Search the crate right next to the Reinitialization Panel for some spare controls, which will show you what the finished puzzle will look like. Then Operate the Reinitialization Panel, and it will show you a mixed up version of the puzzle. You must now slide the boxes around to make the picture, the best way to do this is shown here:

[Solving the Reinitialization Panel Image]

Do the Red, then the Blue, then the Green, then the Yellow and finally, the Purple. This same technique can be used to solve any sliding puzzle. Alternately, you can go see Glough at his house and pay 200,000 Gold Pieces to get the puzzle finished, after that all you have to do is slide one piece. After you finish the puzzle the cavern will shack and the Gliders will unfold. Now go go to the Exit Portal to the South and head to the bank to pick up items for the next step if you don't have them.
[Spare Controls Panel Image]

4) Crash Island
Items needed: Armour, a Weapon, Prayer Potions, Energy Potions, Antipoison Potions, Dueling Ring
Now it is time to begin your mission, make sure you have plenty of food, armour, weapons and potions, and be sure to bring a teleport, as you will need them. Speak to Daero to be taken back to the Hanger, and then talk to Waydar to be taken to Crash Island.

Warning: Do not wander into the Jungle or down the rope, it is extremely dangerous, the snakes will poison you, and the snakes in the pit hit constant 12s, and it is a Multi-way combat zone.
[Crash Island Map Image]

[Lumdo Image]When you arrive, there will be crashed Gliders all around you, talk to Lumdo, who is standing nearby. He will tell you that they were blown of course by the extreme winds, and they crashed into Crash Island (no pun intended). While they were falling Sergeant Garkor noticed a large populated atoll to the West that was within sailing distance. The Sergeant then took all the 10th Guard but Lumdo to explore the atoll looking for potential Glider launch sites. Lumdo will then tell you that he cannot take you to the Island, so go talk to Waydar, who is to the Northeast. Tell him that you cannot convince Lumdo to take you to the atoll. Waydar will then command Lumdo to take you to the atoll. There will be a cutscene, then you will be on Ape Atoll.

5) Ape Atoll
Items needed: Make sure to have all the items that you brought with you from step 4
Welcome to Ape Atoll! Be sure to keep your Antipoison with you at all times! There are poisonious creatures all over the island! If you run out of Antipoison, it is best to just teleport out! Here is a map to help you in completing the quest, please refer to it if you find yourself lost and confused (it would be better to refer to it before you get lost and confused):

[Ape Atoll Map Image]

After you arrive, be sure you have access to your Anitpoison, as in the first five minutes you are likely to be poisoned at least twice! Now, make sure run is on, and run through the Jungle heading Northwest. When you hit the dirt wall, go West until you come to a place where two dirt walls meet. Turn on your Protect from Range Prayer and proceed through. You will be bombarded by Archer Monkeys, and you will be knocked out from them. You will wake up in jail, with a few members of the 10th Squad in cells beside you. You can talk to them, but you won't learn much, other then they can't help you, and some of their members, Karam, Sergeant Garkor, Zooknook, and a few others are not in the cell with them. It is time to break out, and look for Sergeant Garkor.[Jail Escape Image] There are two ways to escape, one, wait for the Jail Guard to have his back turned to you, then Pick the Lock on the door, and walk East to where there is a Level 1 Spider who will poison you. Wait there until the Guard walks to the building to the North, then follow the path and run out and to the North into the grass. You can also stay in your cell, at least one block away from the door, until the Guard goes around twice, then heads to change shifts. In the image to the left, the Green is safe, and the Red and Blue is the path the guard takes. The Guard walks the Blue line twice. Once you leave the Jail, head North into the grass, which will hide you from being attacked. It is recommended you play in Low Detail, as all the tall grass will hide you from being attacked.
Now head East, all the while staying in the grass, you will pass Karem, but you have no need to speak to him at this time. Head east until you see the Temple wall, now turn on Protect from Range, and run around the West side of the Temple, do not run around the East side.Note: You can also go into the Temple to recharge you Prayer, if you need to, be sure to keep Protect from Melee on the entire time you are in there.
Once you reach the South side of the Temple, you will see a small house to the South, head around the North side of it, in between the house and the Temple till you reach the grass, you can now safely turn Protect from Range off. If you go around the South side of the Temple, you will be grabbed by the Elder Guards at the South side of the house and stuck back in jail. Now go talk to the Sergeant who is on the East side of the house.

6) Disguises
Items needed: Make sure to have all the items that you brought with you from step 4 and 5
[Crates Image]After talking to Garkor you will learn that you must find a way to disguise yourself as a monkey, to do this you need to go see Zooknook. But before we head there, you must head to the center of the village, in a little hut to find some things. Walk around the house the way you came, and stick to the grass as much as possible. Turn on Protect from Range and head to the house that is marked with a Purple Circle on the Ape Atoll Map. Once there, stay only on the dark spots, with all the crates there, if you stray to the middle of the house, Ninja Monkeys will appear and take you back to jail. Search the crates on the East side that are piled two high (circled Red in the image to the left), and take the Monkey Dentures that are in the crate. Then search one of the other crates (circled Green in the image to the left) to get dropped into a cavern, which will damage you if you don't land right. Head Northeast to some crates, and search one to get an Monkey Amulet Mold . Now just teleport to the Dueling Arena using your Dueling Ring.

6) Seeing Zooknook
Items needed: 4 Prayer Potions, 4 Antipoison Potions, 6 Super Energy Potions, Monkey Amulet Mold, Monkey Dentures, Gold Bar, a Plank, Armour and Weapon that increases Prayer, a Dueling Ring, and the rest of your inventory filled with food
After Banking and getting the required items, head to the Glider in Al Kharid, and go back to the Grand Tree. Talk to Daero to be taken to the Hanger, then talk to Waydar to be taken to Crash Island. Then go with Lumdo to Ape Atoll. Now go West to the to the dungeon entrance to the Ape Atoll Tunnel (check out the map for the exact location). Turn on your Protect from Melee, turn on Run, then go down the ladder, follow the path all the way, running the entire time, drink Potions when you need to, and eat food when you need to. Use Planks on the stnes when you come to them, or you will be damaged. When you get to the end of the tunnel, you can turn Prayer and Run off, as you are safe now. Talk to Zooknook, and he will eventually tell you that he needs Monkey Dentures, a Gold Bar, and a Monkey Amulet Mold. Use all three items on him, and then he will enchant them. He will hand you back an Enchanted Bar. Now use your Dueling Ring to get back to Al Kharid.

7) Speaking Monkey
Items needed: Armour, a Weapon, Prayer Potions, Energy Potions, Antipoison Potions, Dueling Ring, Enchanted Bar, Monkey Amulet Mold, Ball of Wool, and 4 to 5 Bananas
After using the facilities at the Duel Arena to heal and recharge your Prayer, stock up and make sure you have all the items listed above. Then use the Gliders to return to the Tree Gnome Stronghold, and from there, go back to Ape Atoll. Go to where the Archers attack you, make sure to use Protect from Range, and after you are caught, escape jail and go around the North of the Jail. Now head East to where the Temple is, only this time, turn on Protect from Melee and Run, then go inside to where the altar is. Look over to where some Guards are lined up around a ladder and trapdoor. Wait until they move, because you can't go through them, then run in between them and go down the trapdoor. Go either North, or South and use your Enchanted Bar with the Wall of Flames, you will get a Monkey Speak Amulet. Now, run to the rope, and climb up. Once you are there, climb the ladder, and here you run into a fork in the path. You can do it two ways, one, use your Dueling ring to go to the Dueling Arena and stock up, make sure you have 4 to 5 Bananas, then make your way back to the North side of the Jail, you should know how by now. The other way, is to wait until you can run through the guards, they will have to move, and make your way back to the Jail, regardless of how you got here, the next step is the same.

8) Monkey Talismen
Items needed: Armour, a Weapon, Prayer Potions, Energy Potions, Antipoison Potions, Dueling Ring, Monkey Amulet, and 4 to 5 Bananas
[Crates Image]Now, make sure you are on the North side of the Jail, and head slightly West to where a wall will be broken, go through and slide over to the alley on the left. Make sure to stay in the alley at all times! Now, turn your camera so you can see slightly Southwest, you will see a Monkey Child, and possible, a Monkey Aunt. Wait until you can see the Monkey Aunt, now, you must avoid being seen by her, so only talk to the Monkey Child when she isn't in the garden area. Now talk to the Child when she leaves, and tell him that you are a Monkey's Uncle, it will talk several tries, but eventually he will tell you that his Aunt told him to pick bananas, but he can't count. So tell him you will give him bananas, and either pick a couple from the trees nearby, or if you brought some, give them to him, around 4 to 5 bananas, and he will think that is twenty. Now wait until the Aunt walks through one more time, and talk to the Child, he should give you a Monkey Talismen.

[He gives you a Talismen Image]

If he doesn't give it to you, wait a few more minutes then ask him again. Once you have it, teleport to the Duel Arena, and move on to the next step.

9) Monkey Greegree
Items needed: Monkey Amulet, Monkey Talismen, Karamja Monkey bones (or corpse), 4 Prayer Potions, 4 Antipoison Potions, 6 Super Energy Potions, a Plank, Armour and Weapon that increases Prayer, a Dueling Ring, and the rest of your inventory filled with food
After Banking and getting the required items, head head back to Ape Atoll, then go to the tunnel which leads to Zooknook. Turn on your Protect from Melee, turn on Run, then go down the ladder, follow the path all the way, running the entire time, drink Potions when you need to, and eat food when you need to. Use Planks on the stones when you come to them, or you will be damaged. When you get to the end of the tunnel, you can turn Prayer and Run off, as you are safe now. Talk to him to find out that he needs Monkey Bones, and a Monkey Talismen, so use those items on him, and he will give you a Monkey Greegree. Now teleport out using your Dueling Ring, restock and go on to the next step.

10) The Alliance
Items needed: Monkey Greegree, Monkey Speak Amulat, Armour, a Weapon, Prayer Potions, Energy Potions, Antipoison Potions, Dueling Ring, and a teleport to Ardougne Go back to Ape Atoll, as soon as you get there, equip your Monkey Greegree and Monkey Speak Amulet, from now on, always stay in Monkey form while you are on Ape Atoll. While in Monkey form, nothing will attack you. Now go up to the gate where you normally get shot down, go through the gate, as they let you in because you are a monkey! Go speak to the Sergeant, he wants you to get an alliance between the Monkeys on Karamja and the Ape Atoll Monkeys. Go speak to the Elder Guards in front of the house, but they won't let you in to so the king. He will tell you you need Kruk's permission to enter the house. Go see Kruk (refer to the map), to get to Kruk, go to the ledge where the Archers attacked you, and go up the bridge on the North tip of the left ledge. After you talk to him, he will take you to King Awowogei. The king will want you to prove that the Karamja Monkeys are going to be valuable allies, so he will need you to rescue a monkey from the Ardougne Zoo. So teleport to Ardougne.

11) The Rescue
Items needed: Monkey Greegree, Monkey Speak Amulat, Armour, a Weapon, Prayer Potions, Energy Potions, Antipoison Potions, Dueling Ring Once you get to Ardougne, head off to the Zoo. Equip you Monkey Greegree and Monkey Speak Amulet. Now talk to one of the Monkey Minders, they will throw you into the cage with the other Monkeys. Now just talk to one of them, and convince him to get into your inventory. Tell him you will take him back to Karamja. Now un-equip your Greegree and talk to the Monkey Minder, he will let you out. Now walk (or run) back to the Grand Tree.

Do not teleport or log out, or the monkey will dissappear from your inventory.

Go back to Ape Atoll through the hanger. Equip your Monkey Greegree, and Monkey Speak Amulet and go back and speak with the Elder Guards around Awowogei's house. They will let you in to speak with the King. Talk with the King and he will think of an alliance. Now go outside and talk to the Sergeant, and he will give you a 10th Squad Sigil.> Now use your Dueling Ring to get back to the Arena.
If the Sergeant doesn't give you the Sigil, try un-equipping the Monkey Greegree and talking to him again.
It is recommended that you get more then one Sigil incase you die fighting the demon, you can get more then one by dropping the one you have, then talking to the Sergeant and telling him you lost yours, drop it again to get another one, then just pick them all up.

Do not equip the Sigil unitl you are ready to fight the Demon, because you will be teleported to fight him.

12) The Demon
Items needed: Monkey Greegree, Monkey Speak Amulat, Armour, a Weapon, Prayer Potions, Antipoison Potions, Food, Dueling Ring, a one-click teleport, and the 10th Squad Sigil Recharge your Hitpoints and Prayer, then get ready to battle. Now, there are a couple of ways to do this, you can, if you have higher Range then 50, kill him using Range, you can also try to kill him using Melee, but that is not recommended, as he hits very high with Melee. It is almost impossible to use Magic on him, as his defense for Magic is very high.
If you are going to use Range, wear your best Dragonhide Armour, the best bow you can use (preferably a Magic Shortbow), bring the best arrows you can use, and wear a Dueling Ring. Fill your inventory with 8 or so Prayer Potions (4 dose), the Monkey Greegree, Monkey Speak Amulet, your one-click teleport (like the Ectophial or something), the 10th Squad Sigil, and fill the rest with food, the best you have.
If you will use Melee, wear the best armour you have (preferably Dragonhide, for the Magic Defense bonus), wear a Dragon Dagger (P++), and wear a Dueling Ring. Fill your inventory with 8 or so Prayer Potions (4 dose), the Monkey Greegree, Monkey Speak Amulet, your one-click teleport (like the Ectophial or something), the 10th Squad Sigil, and fill the rest with food, the best you have.
Make sure your Special Attack meter is full, and run is on. Now, equip your 10th Squad Sigil, and you will, after a few seconds, be teleported to the Cave where you will fight the Demon.

[Monkey Madness Fight Cave Image]

[Crates Image]As soon as Garknor has finished speaking, turn on Protect from Magic and run to the nearest bridge and cross over to the other side, now follow the outer edge over to the corner where the Gnomes are. While you are on the Outer Edge, the Demon cannot Mage you, so it is safe to turn of Protect from Magic. Wait on the edge of the bridge nearest the Gnomes, be sure the Demon can't attack you and that you can see his Hitpoint Bar. The Gnomes will attack him with almost constant 1s, wait until his HP bar turns red, turn on Protect from Magic (or Melee if you are gonna be close to him), then attack him using the Special Attack of your weapon, as well as using all the Prayers you can to enhance your attack. You must be the one to hit the final blow, or his Hitpoints will recharge, if that happens, just go back to where you were and wait for his Hitpoints to be lowered again. If you ever loose sight of the Demon, an arrow [Arrow Image]on your Minimap will show you his location.
After you have killed the Demon, just talk to Garknor, and then to Zooknook, who will teleport you to the West coast of Ape Atoll. Now just head back to the King in the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
