1:
Edmound will tell you about his daughter who has gone to West Ardougne to investigate the plague. He will ask you to talk to his wife, Alrena 
She can be found here:
2:
Alrena will tell you about West Ardounge and that you will need a Mask to get into the city. She will need Dwellberries to make the Mask. Go get Dwellberries (if you don't have them already) from McGrubor's Wood, you won't be able to get in from the front gate, so go around the back and squeeze through the fence here:
Once you have the Dwellberries, talk to Alrena again, and she will give you a Mask and put one the cupboard so the Mourner's can't find it, just in case you lose the one you have.
3:
Go talk to Edmound again, he will tell you he has a good idea of how to get into West Ardougne, you will need four (4) Buckets of Water, and a Spade, also get the Picture of Elena off the table in the house: On the table, get the rest of the items, the Bucket of Milk can be gotten by using a Bucket with a Dairy Cow, a Bar of Chocolate can be bought at the Port Sarim food shop, Pestle and Mortar can be bought at any Herblore shop, Rope can be bought from Ned in Draynor Village for 15 gp, or in the General Store in Ardougne for 23 gp, and the Snape Grass which can be found on the peninsula West of the Crafting Guild.
4:
Now go to the west side of the house where Edmound is, and there is a Mud Patch in the middle of the yard, use all four (4) Buckets of water on it, then stand over it and Dig with your spade.
5:
You will fall into the Sewers, with Edmound right behind you. Walk South to the Sewer Pipe there, use the Rope on the Grill covering the Pipe, and then go back and talk to Edmound. He will help you pull the Grill off, then make sure you have your Mask on, and climb up into the Pipe. Congradulations! You have just made it into West Ardougne!
6:
Go talk to Jethick, he is someplace near where you came up from the Sewers.Talk to him and say you are looking for Elena. He will tell you Elena is helping the people in this city, and he will tell you she is staying with the Rehnisons. Jethick will also ask you to return a book to them that he was borrowing. Now go the Rehnison's house, which is North of you:

Try to open the door, and they will say you cannot come in, you will tell them you are returning a book, and they will let you in.
7:
Go in, and talk to one of the people in the house on the first floor, ask about Elena, they will tell you she was kidnapped, and that Milli say it happen. They will tell you to go upstairs and talk to Milli, do that, she will tell you that she was in the southeast corner of West Ardougne when it happened, and that she saw the men take Elena into a house. Go to the house.
8:
Try to open one of the doors to the house, and a Mourner will tell you you can't get in, because it has been marked by the Plague. He will tell you that if you want to get in, to go talk to Bravek. Go talk to his Clerk in the big House North of you above the Square. Tell him it is urgent that you speak with Bravek, and he will let you in. Talk to Bravek, and he will say he has a massive headache, ask him about the potion his Herblorist gives him for hangovers, and he will give a note, the note says:
Get a Bucket of Milk,
Then grind some Chocolate
With a Pestle and Mortar
Add the grinded Chocolate to the Milk
Finally add some Snape Grass
Do that, in that order, then talk to Bravek again, he will take the stuff and drink it, then feel better, he will give you a warrant to enter the house.
9:
Go back to the house, and open the door again, the Mourner will again stop you, but after you tell him that you have a warrant, will turn his back to go talk to the Head Mourner, and you will walk in. Go down the Spooky Stairs into the basement.
10: Elena is in a Cell, try to open the door, and it will be locked, Elena will tell you that the Key is "around here someplace." Go upstairs, and search the Barrel, it is the only one that can be searched, it is next to the Stairs. You will find a Key 
now go back downstairs and open the door, you will walk into the cell, talk to Elena, she will thank you, and tell you her father (Edmound) will reward you. Leave the house, and go back down into the Sewers and talk to Edmound to finish the Quest!
