Walkthrough

Miscellania Vs Etceteria

1) To start this quest speak to Advisor Ghrim. He'll tell you that Miscellania and Etceteria are fighting again. Accept to help the two and then talk to the Princess or the Prince. (Depending on who you married in the Throne of Miscellania Quest)

2) A short cut scene will commence, the think the best way to stop the fighting is for the King and Queen to get married.

Research

3) Head out of the castle and talk with Lumberjack Leif or Gardener Gunnhild. It doesn't matter who. They'll tell you that Etceterian soldiers came and stole their resources.

4) Head back to the king and rely the information you have found.

5) Now head over to Etceteria and speak to the queen. She'll tell you about stolen resources and that King Vargas must be behind it.

6) Head back outside and talk to one or two citizens. They'll tell you that Miscellanian's have stolen their items.

7) Rely this information to the Queen.

Dungeons

8) Now head back to the king, he'll tell you to talk to Advisor Ghrim. He'll tell you to go and talk to the sailor.

9) The Sailor can be found on the dock. The same dock that you use to access Miscellania. He'll tell you about the Miscellania Dungeons.

10) Now go back to the King and he'll also mention the Dungeons, and how he forgot to tell you. He'll give you permission to enter the dungeons.

11) Now leave the castle house, and look for the red ! near the south of the doors. The guard however won't let you in. Show him the letter the King gave you. He'll now let you in. Unfortunately he isn't attackable for his ignorance.

NOTE: Make sure you have your armour, weapons and anti poison potion with you.

12) Go talk to Donal who is in the bar he'll give you a Mining Prop.

13) Head north and you'll see a crevice, use your prop with it.

14) Now you need to fix the lift, to do so follow this list.

Fixing the Scaffold

15)

Pick up a engine, if you have 5 coal use them with it, or mine them here.

  • Use a pulley beam on the scaffold
  • use two beams and a pulley beam on each other.
  • Use this on the scaffold.
  • use another pulley beam on the scaffold
  • Use a rope on the scaffold then a beam.

The scaffold should now be fixed.

16) Pickup an extra rope from the box, and now use the lift and go up.

17) If you've forgot your plank pick up the one here.

18) Now head through the dungeons until you find some fire remains, continue through the dungeon until you reach some rocks that need to be jumped over, use your plank with them.

19) Search the fire remains.

20) Carry on through the dungeons and search the next fire remains, now try and avoid the steam vents, as if they hit you, you'll take alot of damage.

21) Search the fire remains here, continue through the dungeon and search the fifth and finally fire remains.

22) Now read the diary.

23) Now head through the crevice in the wall, and you'll she a longish cut scene.

Killing the Sea Snake

24) Now carry on north through the dungeon until you reach another crevice, drink a dose of your anti poison potion, if you brought one and walk through the crevice, attack the Giant Sea Snake.

25) Pick up what it drops, and walk out the crevice, a rope will now be available for you to climb up.

26) Now return the box you picked up to the Queen. She'll now write a letter for you to take to the King, and she'll give you a reward.

27) Now head to the king give him the letter, and you'll be rewarded.

Quest Complete!

  • 20,000 GP
  • 5,000 agility EXP
  • 5,000 Slayer EXP
  • 5,000 hitpoints EXP
  • ability to collect seeds, mahogany and teak logs
  • Increased resources for managing your kingdom
