Phoenix gang
Reldo
2) If you've decided to join the phoenix gang then, talk to reldo again and he'll tell you he doesn't know much and you should talk to Baraek.
Baraek
3) Head over to Baraek, he's the fur store owner in the centre of Varrock, make sure you have 20gp and Baraek will tell you where their hideout is.
Hideout
4) Head all the way south to the city walls and walk wast until you see a red ! this is the entrance to the hideout, climb down, talk to Straven, to get in you'll need to get a report for Straven.
Johnny the beard
5) Head to the blue moon inn, the bar just south of Varrock centre and kill Johnny the Beard he's a level 2, so not to much trouble, pick up the scroll he drops, take this scroll to Straven, you'll get the weapon store key.
Hideout
6) Enter the hideout and head south-east of it, and open the chest for the shield half.
Black Arm gang
Tramp
2) Talk to the tramp at the south entrance to Varrock, ask if there is anything down the alleyway, he'll tell you everything he knows about the black arm gang.
Hideout
3) Head down the alleyway, and talk to Katrine, tell her you know about the black arm gang, and you won't tell her told you, say you want to become a member and you'll do a challenge, you'll need to get 2 phoenix crossbows.
You'll need a friend for the next stage
Crossbows
4) Find your friend and ask for the weapon store key, with the key go upstairs, you'll be attacked by a level 23, kill him and you'll get the crossbows.
Hideout
5) Head back to Katrine and hand over the crossbows, you'll now have access to the hideout.
Shield half
6) enter the hideout and head upstairs search the cupboard for the shield half.
Finishing the quest
7) Get your friend again and, and gets your friends shield half or vis versa, head over to the Varrock Museum, east of the castle, whoever has the two halves talk to the curator, they'll then get two certificates, hand one over to your friend and now talk to the curator again.
8) Head over to the king of Varrock in his castle to claim the reward.
