Think of others while using a cannon. Try to use the least crowded area or world you can find so you aren't disrupting the play of others. This also helps you avoid confrontations from less mature players.

Walkthrough

The king? or something else?

1) To start enter the castle on Miscellania and go upstairs to the throne room.

The king needs your help. He has been cursed and now looks likes rather odd... He is unable to rule his kingdom - Are you up to the task of running Miscellania? If so, you'll be asked to do three jobs to prove your worthiness.

1) Convince his Daughter or Son to marry you. (Depending on your sex) 2) Negotiate with Etceteria and sign a peace treaty. 3) Get the support of 75% of the kingdom.

Etceteria negotiation

2) Firstly talk to advisor Ghrim, who has some helpful information.

Now head over to Etceteria castle, and talk to the queen she'll talk for a while saying how busy she is, finally she'll agree to the treaty if the king recognises Etceteria as a sovereign nation. Head back to the king and he'll agree if Etceteria changes there anthem.

Head back to the Queen and she'll agree to change there anthem if you can find a bard to compose a new one.

Head over to the Prince Brand on Miscellania. (He's in the room next to the king) he'll write a 'awful' anthem, but don't worry show this to Advisor Ghrim and he'll rectify it and it'll be much, much better.

Hand this anthem over the the king. She'll give you a treaty that the King needs to sign. Take it too him.

However there's a problem. The kings hands are too large to be able to use a normal pen. However don't worry head out of the castle and north-east to the snowy area, speak to the blacksmith here.

He'll create a new pen nib. Use your log with it for a large pen. Take this pen to the King and he'll sign the treaty.

Becoming a royal

3) To become a part of the royal family, you must marry into it.

Follow the section that matches the current sex that you are.

Male

  • Males need to talk to Princess Astrid. You'll be in for a long... long.... chat.
  • Talk to her and answer all the questions with the correct answers, they're fairly obvious. (For example don't don't select 'I'm a little teapot, short and stout' since I bet you aren't )
  • Once you have no more options, use the dance emote.
  • Carry on talking until you again don't have any other options, now hand over the flowers.
  • After that talk some more... now when no options are available use the blow kiss emote.
  • Finally more talking... and again no options left give the Princess a ring.

Female

  • Talk to the prince and compliment him, listen to his poems, and singing and compliment them.
  • When there are no more options left hand over the flowers.
  • Continue talking, and when no more options are available dance and clap for him.
  • Talk once again until once again there are no more options, and hand over the cake.
  • Finally talk once again, blow a kiss talk, and hand over the ring.

Gaining the support of the Miscellanaians

4)For you to be able to rack up the support you must help the locals with there jobs.

Choose one or two from below and work with them until you reach 75% support. To check your support talk to Advisor Ghrim.

  • Fisherman Frodi: Help by catching tuna and swordfish, or lobsters.
  • Lumberjack Leif: Help by chopping maples.
  • Miner Magnus: Help by mining coal.
  • Gardener Gunnhild: Help by raking the herb garden.

Once your rating has reached 75% the king will hold a ceremony and you'll be the new ruler of Miscellania.
