Small boy
1) Talk to the small boy, near the members gate in Taverly, ask him what is wrong and he'll tell you that he lost his ball in the witch's garden, agree to help him get his ball back, be aware this isn't as easy as walking in and picking up a small ball.
Getting into the house
Make sure you have your cheese and gloves before proceeding
2) Go around to the front door, if you try to open the door it'll be locked, so look under the plant pot and you'll get a key.
Getting outside
3) Head upstairs and you'll see a diary pick it up and at least view each page, now go downstairs and go through the gate, search the cupboard in front of you, you should no have a magnet in your inventory.
Go back to the ground floor and you'll see a little room that has a door that leads to the garden, go inside this room and close the door, now drop your cheese and a mouse should appear, use your magnet with the mouse and the door should unlock, be quick as the mouse disappears after a while.
Retrieving the ball
4) You should now be outside, you'll notice Nora. T. Hag patrolling the garden, if she see's you she'll teleport you outside without the ball and you'll need to try again, so without her seeing you go all the way around the garden following the path, you'll reach a little shed, carry on going until you reach a fountain, search this fountain for a key, now sneak back to the shed without being seen unlock the door and you'll now be inside, if there is someone else in the shed you'll have to wait until they have finished before you can enter.
Once inside the shed, try and pick up the ball, you'll be unable to do so, you'll now be attacked by four different monsters of increasing levels (Highest level being a 53), kill all four experiments and now pick the ball up, sneak out without being caught and give the ball back to the small boy, congratulations quest complete.
