Think of others while using a cannon. Try to use the least crowded area or world you can find so you aren't disrupting the play of others. This also helps you avoid confrontations from less mature players.

Agilty Guide

Content

1.0 Introduction

Agility is a very useful skill. It allows you to recover the energy spent on running. The higher level of agility you have, the faster your energy will recover, letting you run for longer and longer. Players with very high levels of agility will find that they can move quickly around the world of RuneScape, this also carries over to non-member servers.

2.0 Shortcuts

Gnomes around the world delight at travel, but they simply hate having to walk everywhere, so they developed a series of shortcuts. These are fairly simple to negotiate for most Gnomes, fun even. For humans they often pose more of a challenge. However, should they succeed, a lot of tedious walking time will be saved. To use a shortcut, you must have a certain Agility level, even if you do have the level needed, there is still a chance that you will fail. There are currently the following Agility shortcuts available:

3.0 Grapple

In the the above table you may have noticed that some agility shortcuts require the use of a grapple.

A grapple is simply a hook with a rope attached to its end. To make a Mithril Grapple you'll need to following items

  • Mithril Bolt
  • Mithril Grapple Tip
  • Rope
  • Mithril or better Crossbow

Firstly attach your Mithril bolt to a Mithril Grapple Tip, (Both can be made with 1 Mithril bar each at any anvil) then attach your rope to the grapple.Lastly to be able to use your grapple you'll need to be weilding a mithril or better crossbow.

Luckily, there is another solution, there are Agility Courses available to use. Which give extra experience per lab. The following are the Agility Courses currently available for use:

6.0 Energy Restore

Agility decreases the amount of time it takes to recharge your run energy, so therefore, you can run more. This effect also works on non-member servers. You can only restore your energy when you are walking, or not moving. You lose energy when you run.
Besides recharging energy normally, there are also various foods, plants, and potions that you can use to restore your energy:

Agility Courses
Item Image Amount Recharged How to get
Energy Restore Potion 10% Make it, or buy it from another player.
Gnomish Mint 50% Reward from the Gnome Restaurant Minigame.
Goutweed Tuber 50% You can dig it up in the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame.

Summer Pie 10% Make it, or buy it from another player.
